What I Am Reading

Here's what I am reading right now:

What are you reading right now?  I am looking for something good to read after I finish this one.

Just when I thought I would have nothing to post...

Alanna decided to carry Miley around in the basket where she soon fell asleep.

Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu

Since I was so camera happy today, I even took pictures of the supper I made tonight.  And since it was so easy to make and the whole family liked it, I thought I would share it with all of you.

Following Through

Following through on my challenge, which I thought was going to be difficult, was actually pretty easy today.  I grabbed my camera right away this morning when I saw this ice pattern on my door...

This was a result of the below zero temperatures and 20+ mile per hour winds we had all last night.  As it turned out, due to the weather, the girls' school had a one hour delay today.  Thankfully, we didn't get any more than an inch of snow!

This is Brad preparing to go out in the cold, windy weather today at lunchtime...

I think he may have actually driven to work like this!  Scary!

A New Challenge for 2010

Okay, so I've been challenged to post at least one picture a day on my blog for the rest of the year. I will do my best to live up to this challenge (except while I'm on vacation). So here goes...these are pics taken the day after Christmas of the front of our house. It only snowed a few inches and these are the drifts we got.

Any ideas on what I should post or blog about??? PLEASE, let me know, I am going to be desperate for ideas if I have any hope of completing this challenge.

More Miley Pictures

Since I have nothing else to blog about... here are some more pictures of Miley. Alanna had her dressed in pajamas and ready to play Yahtzee. However, you will see that Miley was just too tired to roll the dice.

New Year's Eve

I started 2010 with a midnight 5k run. It was super cold, about 8 degrees, but thankfully not much wind. Lynn and I finished the race, which turned out to be 3.35 miles in 29 minutes (not bad considering the weather and snow and ice on the path). I had a lot of fun, what a great, crazy way to start the new year!

Unfortunately, Brad didn't have as much fun; he is still healing from his tonsilectomy. Hopefully, he will heal up soon and get to feeling better.
