Black Violin

Friday night Brad and I took Alanna to the Black Violin concert.  Makenna spent the night with a friend; she got to watch the concert earlier in the day with the rest of the Campbell County 7th graders. 

If you ever get a chance to see Black Violin in concert, I highly recommend seeing them.  They are amazing musicians and very inspiring people.

Crockpot Pot Pie

The other day I made Crockpot Pot Pie from VegWeb.com

It was super easy and really tasty!  I ended up adding more veggies to mine, but I didn't change anything else.  You can find the recipe here.

Braces!

Friday morning we headed to Rapid City to get Alanna's braces put on.

Saturday night we watched the Enduro at the Civic Center.  If you have never been to one, I recommend googling it and going to see one!  It was fun to watch, even the girls enjoyed it!

New furniture!!

Finally...something to blog about!  Actually, I have plenty of things I could be blogging, but I just haven't taken the time.  Anyways, today was pretty exciting so I had to share:

We finally bought a sectional couch to fill up our living room!  We love, love, love it!!

Christmas 2010

This year we spent Christmas in Newcastle with my parents, Matt and Kristen and the girls, and Bonnie.  It was a beautiful weekend.  After opening the mountain of presents in the living room we rode the Razr and pulled the kids in the sled.  The only thing that could have been any better would have been if I hadn't gotten a cold and lost my voice!  When we came home on Sunday, we put away our Christmas decorations, took down the tree, and unpacked all of our Christmas loot!

The Best Pumpkin Pancakes!
